Terms & Conditions

Notice: Please read these terms and conditions carefully. They set out the terms under which the Services operated by The Business Show Amsterdam (including websites, portals, content, search facilities, directory services, email, forums, expert features, blogs, and other services provided from time to time) are made available to you. These Terms and Conditions apply to Members, Exhibitors, Advertisers, Sponsors, Subscribers, Visitors, and all users of any services provided in connection with The Business Show Amsterdam.

By accessing or using any of the Services, whether as a Member, Exhibitor, Subscriber, or Visitor, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions without prior notice.

In these Terms and Conditions, the following definitions apply:

1.1 Terms and Conditions
These general terms apply to all services provided in connection with The Business Show Amsterdam. Additional terms may apply to specific services, including exhibiting, sponsorship, or ticketing.

1.2 The Business Show Amsterdam
The Business Show Amsterdam is organised by Business Show Media (the “Organiser”), with its registered office at 4 Colston Avenue, Bristol, BS1 4ST, United Kingdom, and operating within the Netherlands for this event.

1.3 Website
The official website for The Business Show Amsterdam through which Users may register as Members, Visitors, or Exhibitors.

1.4 User
Any natural person or legal entity who registers, purchases tickets, exhibits, sponsors, advertises, or attends the event.

1.5 Member
An individual User who has registered via the official event website.

1.6 Services
All services provided in connection with The Business Show Amsterdam, including but not limited to event access, exhibitor space, digital platforms, networking tools, content distribution, and related communications.

1.7 Third Party
Any party other than the Organiser or the User.

2.1 We take your privacy seriously. Please review our Privacy Policy.

2.2 All personal data is processed in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Dutch data protection laws.

2.3 By registering, you consent to the processing of your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, including for event administration and relevant communications.

2.4 The Organiser may contact registered Users by email regarding event updates, related services, or future events. Users may unsubscribe at any time.

2.5 If you engage with Third Parties (e.g., exhibitors or sponsors), their privacy policies will apply to any data you provide to them.

3.1 The Organiser will use reasonable efforts to ensure the Services and the event operate satisfactorily.

3.2 The Organiser does not guarantee uninterrupted access to digital Services or that the event will proceed without changes.

3.3 The Organiser reserves the right to:

• Alter event dates, venue, speakers, or format

• Cancel or postpone the event due to circumstances beyond reasonable control (including force majeure)

• Refuse admission or remove any individual whose conduct is deemed inappropriate

4.1 Users are responsible for all content they publish, display, or distribute in connection with the event.

4.2 Users may not distribute or display content that is:

• Unlawful under Dutch or EU law

• Harassing, abusive, defamatory, obscene, or discriminatory

• Infringing on intellectual property rights

• Misleading, fraudulent, or deceptive

• Promoting illegal goods or services under Dutch law

• Spam or unauthorised commercial communications

4.3 Exhibitors and sponsors are responsible for ensuring their products and marketing materials comply with all applicable Dutch and EU regulations.

4.4 Users must comply with venue rules and all applicable Dutch laws and safety regulations.

5.1 All intellectual property rights relating to The Business Show Amsterdam, including branding, website content, and event materials, are owned by the Organiser or its licensors.

5.2 Users may not reproduce or commercially exploit event materials without prior written consent.

5.3 By submitting content (including speaker materials or exhibitor descriptions), Users grant the Organiser a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to use such content for promotional and operational purposes.

6.1 Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence where such liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.

6.2 The Organiser shall not be liable for:

• Indirect or consequential losses

• Loss of profits, business, or goodwill

• Travel or accommodation costs in case of cancellation or postponement

6.3 The Organiser’s total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the User for participation in the event.

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

Communicable diseases, including COVID-19, may pose a risk in environments where people gather.

By attending The Business Show Amsterdam, you acknowledge:

• The inherent risk of exposure to infectious diseases

• That you attend at your own risk

• That the Organiser cannot guarantee a disease-free environment

The Organiser shall not be liable for any illness contracted during or as a result of attendance, except where required by law.

Attendees agree to:

• Comply with all applicable Dutch public health regulations

• Follow venue safety instructions

• Refrain from attending if experiencing symptoms of contagious illness

Failure to comply may result in removal from the event.
