The Canadian Queer Chamber of Commerce (CQCC) is Canada’s leading national organization dedicated to advancing economic empowerment for 2SLGBTQI+ communities. We work to build a more inclusive Canadian and global economy by breaking down barriers and driving systemic change. We unite 2SLGBTQI+ businesses, government partners, and allied organisations to advocate for inclusion and opportunity.

Through networking, education, and advocacy, CQCC works to ensure queer businesses thrive and can continue contributing to a stronger, more inclusive Canadian economy. We engage in this work through several channels, such as supplier diversity programming and certification, expanding global trade opportunities, and queer entrepreneur mentorship. 

We know that 2SLGBTQI+ entrepreneurs still face barriers, despite progress made, so we set out to create change one connection at a time. Communities of 2SLGBTQI+ businesses, government liaisons and diverse procurement practices are helping to tip the scales. CQCC acts as a broader national coalition of these positive networks advocating for change to make a more inclusive Canadian, and global, economy possible.
